It is great news for children between 13-16 years old who currently or will learn with the Albert e-learning system! The Ling App partners with Albert to provide language lessons with fun, bite-sized games. Under a licensing collaboration, the two leading educational companies plan to provide Albert’s users with the English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian language courses by the second quarter of 2022.
Ling App Partners With Albert To Provide Language Lessons For Older Children
On 27 October 2021, Simya Solutions Ltd. (aka “Simya”), the company that creates an amazing language app called Ling, signed a licensing agreement with e-Education Albert (“Albert”), a leading Nordic EdTech player. Through the collaboration, Simya will provide its language content for Albert so the users can learn languages on Albert’s apps.
The users who benefit from this partnership will be older children who are between the age of 13 and 16 years old. Currently, only mathematics and, in some markets, geography are offered to the older age category. When the language courses are launched, users will be able to learn English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian languages with interactive mini-games. More languages will be considered to be added later on.
Arta Mandegari and Salman Eskandari, founders of Albert, said: “Language is high on our customers’ wish list when it comes to new products. We are therefore pleased to initiate this collaboration where we will license well-proven content and offer it to the older age categories in all our markets. By offering language learning, we create even better conditions for continued growth, while the licensing structure is a time and cost-effective way to evaluate the value of a new service, ahead of the decision to own the content.”
The two partners are working on the integration and expect to launch the new content in the second quarter of 2022. The pilot agreement runs until the end of 2022.
