Pakistan's films and drama industry, also known as Lollywood, is a growing industry filled with aspirational people ready to illuminate the world with their glimmer of talent. Some of them are born actors, meaning they either had the knack of acting in their blood or were from a lineage of successful actors/actresses. Some had to work really hard to become popular in this field, and others even had to learn the Urdu language. In this blog post, you will get to know a lot about Pakistani actors. So without further ado, let's get to know some of the brilliant Paki actors you will fall in love with.

Ahad Raza Mir

Pakistani Actors

Early Life

He is the only son of the one and only Asif Raza Mir, who is also a prominent and well-known name in the Pakistani drama industry. He was born in Karachi on September 29, 1993.

Ahad Raza Mir used to live in Canada and has studied fine arts at the University of Calgary. There he used to work as a theatre artist having a perfect hobby to help him earn.

He came to Pakistan in 2016 with his appreciable acting skills. He went on air for the first time as he got featured in the serial Sammi drama. He received a lot of recognition through that drama, and because of it, he got a lead role in the drama serial Yaqeen Ka Safar which proved to be a jackpot for his career.

Marital Status

Ahad Raza Mir married Sajal Aly, a famous Pakistani female actress, in 2020, but they divorced officially in March 2022.

Career

So far, Ahad Raza Mir has performed in just two movies: Parwaaz Ha Junoon, which was quite a successful movie, and Kalasha. If we talk about the dramas, he has performed in Sammi, Yaqeen Ka Safar, Aangan, Ehd e Wafa, Yeh Dil Mera, Hum Tum, and many more. He is the first Pakistani actor to work in Resident Evil's Netflix web series, and this was his Netflix debut.

When it comes to singing, Pakistani people consider him worse than the immature singers you see on Instagram and TikTok. He has sung the classic Pakistani song Ko Ko Korina and Momina musters in coke studio season 11, and this song became the most disliked video in the history of Pakistan.

Awards

No doubt, Ahad Raza Mir is among the most successful actors in Pakistan. He has won many awards. Some of them are,

  • Best television actor - Lux Style Awards
  • The best actor famous - Hum Awards

Fawad Khan started his journey through music. He had a band, Paradigm, which was popular in 2000, and it got more hype when the music band Entity merged with them to create Entity Paradigm. This merged band got into the finals of Pepsi Battle of the Bands but lost.

You can imagine his hustle when I tell you that he became the judge of the same show in 2017. That's what we call rising from the ashes. Fawad Khan continued his successful career as a musician till 2012 and then suddenly left it all for acting.

Fawad khan is said to be the highest-paid actor in the Pakistani media industry, and according to the South Asian media, he is one of the most attractive men. He was awarded the most beautiful man at the Vogue beauty awards.

Fawad Khan is more known for his acting in movies than in dramas. He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with the great movie Khoobsoorat. In 2016, Fawad Khan featured in three films: Ho Mann Jahan, Kapoor and Sons, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

This was a life-changing year of his life. After that, he never performed in Bollywood but is still in business in Pakistan. He has also started working on web series, and Ms. Marvel is the first one.

Fawad Khan is the best of the best. Diabetes clung this handsome 17-year-old into its paws, but he never let his disease come in the way of his hustling journey.

At the start of his career as a film actor, he acted in nineteen movies in just a span of four years, from 1992 to 1996. But even after all this hard work, he couldn't make his place in the film industry. This was when he thought of switching to drama serials, which was a good decision. Faysal Qureshi is famous for his bossy attitude in Bashar Momin and his performance in Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan which succeeded in receiving love from thousands of Pakistanis.

Faysal Qureshi has also hosted many shows, whether a morning show or a game show. He knows how to deal with them and make them a likable deal to keep the audience engaged. Farhan Saeed

Now this one that I am just going to tell you about is my favorite Pakistani actor, Farhan Saeed. He was born in Lahore, Punjab, and was the first son of two doctors. He met Atif Aslam and Gohar Mumtaz at the same university and formed the band Jal. This band got popular in Asia in no time. (I still love and listen to the album Sajni by this band because it has some of the best songs)

But in 2011, he left Jal and started his career as a solo artist. After that, he sang a song for the Indian movie Creature 3.

Acting

Farhan Saeed stepped into acting in 2014 with the drama serial De Ijazat Jo Tu. In 2015 he performed in Mere Ajnabi and in 2016 in Udaari, which crossed all the top charts.
