The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is Hong Kong’s subway system. It is the most common and convenient public transport that travelers use. It is convenient because you can see it almost everywhere and it can be used for easy point-to-point travel. There are three types of taxis in Hong Kong: red taxis operate in urban areas, while green taxis are for the New Territories and blue taxis operate only on Lantau Island.
