If you are traveling alone, single room (一間單人房 | yat1 gaan1 daan1 yan4 fong2) is enough for you. You can also ask for extra pillows ( 枕頭 | zam2 tau4) and blanket (毛氈 | mou4 zin1).

9. 一間雙人房 (Yat1 Aan1 Seung1 Yan4 Fong2)

English Translation: double room

If you are traveling with your friends or your family, you may want to book a double room (一間雙人房 | yat1 gaan1 seung1 yan4 fong2). This will prevent you from being crowded (擠擁 | zai1 jung2 )in just one room.

10. 一個共用房間 (Yat1 Go3 Gung6 Yung6 Fong4 Gaan)

English Translation: a shared room

If you’re on a budget, you may book a shared room (一個共用房間 | yat1 go3 gung6 yung6 fong4 gaan). People who are on a tight budget (預算 | jyu6 syun3) may want to avail themselves of this kind of room even if they are with someone they don’t know.
