Why you should be Zip Lining in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai is a province in Northern Thailand. It has wonderful mountains and rainforests. There are many outdoor activities around these areas. One of the activities that you don’t want to miss while visiting Thailand is Zip-lining.

All over Thailand there are a lot of companies that offer it. The first Zip-line was established here in Chiang Mai in 2007. Flight of the Gibbon was the first to come out and has been voted as the best Zip-lining company. The Zip-line tours are amongst the most popular attractions in Thailand and admittedly I’ve done them too! It was so fun!

Flight of the Gibbon

Flight of the Gibbon is in the lovely village of Mae Kampong. Just about 1 hour by car from the center of Chiang Mai. Once you booked online or by any tour agency, a van will pick you up at your hotel. Two hours and a half Zip-lining all over the beautiful rain forest! The tour offers a combination of Zip-lines, sky bridges, abseiling, and the “superman” station. Along the trip, you will be guided by two highly qualified Sky Rangers to keep you safe. The top-quality equipment that they use is from Europe and exceeds all necessary international safety standards.

Zip-line processes

The first 3 Zip-lines are just a warm-up for everyone. Then you need to hike for at least 10 minutes going to the longest Zip-line. It was amazing to see a family of gibbons swinging around! By the way, they will provide you with water along the trip (800 meters & the finishing point). Surely, you will be amazed at how beautiful the rainforest is!
