    1. Hi Antony! If you want to speak Thai, Ling can help you get there. With audio recorded by native Thai speakers, you can learn to speak from the best! We also have speaking features that give you feedback on your pronunciation and tone. In additional to the Ling app, don’t be afraid to utilize other learning resources out there. While Ling works great on its own, it’s always a good idea to have supplemental materials on the side to take your language skills to the next level. Hope this helps!

  1. Okey, but there is A LOT of thai learning available. I am trying hard and have a vocabukary of about 700 words, but it is difficult to use them as sentenses in conversation.
Every week I manage to add about 50-100 new words.
Now I will test your app and see if I manage to put my words in everyday sentenses.

    1. Hi David! Yes, Ling is the #1 app out there for learning Thai. All our lesson content is made in collaboration with native Thai speakers and can teach you the basics of reading, listening, speaking, and writing Thai. You can always try our free 1-week trial before purchasing if you’re curious. Thanks for all your support!

    1. Hi Christopher! If you want to learn Thai, then you’ve come to the right place! Ling is the #1 best app for learning Thai. First, we feature audio from native Thai speakers, so you can learn pronunciation and tones correctly. Second, in additional to speaking, we dive into how to read and write Thai. Third, we offer transcriptions if you need a little extra help as a beginner learner. Fourth, you can find extensive grammar tips and rules so you can form and understand sentence structures to set you apart from other Thai learners. If you want to start learning Thai, feel free to download Ling from the App Store or Play Store today!

    1. Hi Aung! Thanks for reaching out! If you want to learn the Thai language, I recommend you to download the Ling app from the App Store or Play Store today!

    1. Hi Kevin! So, you want to learn Thai? You’ve come to the right place! Thai is, by far, Ling’s most chosen language course. That’s because it features audio from real Thai native speakers, a transliteration option for beginner learners, writing feature, and lots of grammar tips. If you’re learning Thai as an English speaker, there’s a lot to learn because the two languages are so different. But, if you take your time to go through each Ling lesson, you should come out of the course with proficient Thai language skills. Hope this helps!

    1. Hi David! First, I’m sorry that it took me so long to get back to you! If you want to learn basic conversational Thai, Ling can help! I remember 6 years ago when I was preparing for my first trip to Thailand. I downloaded Ling for that very same reason and, to my surprise, I could actually understand and speak basic Thai by the time I arrived. This is because one Ling lesson incorporates all 4 language skills – reading, writing, speaking, and listening. So, after you finish a lesson, you’ve practiced every skill. Over the course of 200 lessons, those skills add up, and by the end of the entire course you should know basic conversational Thai. Another reason why Ling is so effective is because anyone who knows Thai knows it’s a tonal language. Since all our Thai content is recorded by a native Thai speaker, you can rest assured that you’re learning the correct pronunciation and tones. Hope this helps!

  2. Cant test it without subscribing and auto billing. And have had enough bad experiences with that
Just giving it a try is therefore not possible….
Pity because it could be nice

    1. Hi Arnold! Trust me, I understand what you mean. It’s true that the only way to gain access to our 7-day free trial is to consider a yearly subscription. However, you’re free to cancel your free trial during that 7 day period before you’re billed for a yearly subscription. If, for some reason or another, you are billed, you’re more than welcome to reach out to our customer support team at [email protected]. They’re always ready to take care of customer’s and any issues they may face in the app. We hope you give Ling a try, whether that’s a 7-day free trial, yearly subscription, or monthly subscription. Thank you!

  3. Hello
I want to learn speaking writing and reading Thai same as native in next 4 months will this app help . I have an interview to attend in Thai

    1. Hi Keith! Thanks for reaching out! Ling can certainly help build your basic understanding of Thai reading, grammar, sentence structure, speaking, and writing. Our Thai course also has 200 units on a range of different topics, from family and food to occupation and business. The latter might be beneficial for preparing for your interview in Thai. However, if you’re looking to learn Thai for your career rather than as a hobby or travel, we recommend using Ling along with other learning materials. There are great resources out there for learning Thai and while Ling can most definitely supplement your learning, it can’t take you all the way there on its own. Be sure to utilize external materials and practice on your own at home or with locals, depending where you live, to achieve proficiency in 4 months. If you practice Thai consistently, you should be ready for your interview, but, again, we recommend using different learning resources rather than one single source. Hope this helps, thanks!
