This might give you even more chances to make them fall in love with you. If you like someone who is Serbian, you should try to learn to say some romantic phrases for them in Serbian.
The purpose of this article is for you to start learning something polite and really nice. There is nothing better than love phrases because I’m fed up with the fact that people always learn bad words first.
Nedostaješ mi (I Miss You In Serbian)
‘Nedostaješ mi’ or ‘Недостајеш ми’ in Cyrillic alphabet means I miss you in Serbian. It can be used with your friends, family or with the person you love.
If you haven’t seen your loved one for a long time and are feeling pretty sad about that, you can simply say ‘Nedostajes mi jako, voleo bih da si tu’ or ‘Недостајеш ми јако, волео бих да си ту’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Nedostayesh mee) which means ‘I miss you so much, I wish you were here’.
Now that we know how to say I miss you in Serbian, let’s learn some other love phrases in this beautiful language.
Ja te volim (I love you)
‘Ja te volim’ or ‘Ја те волим’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Ya te voleem) means I love you. This is good for foreign people, because you can note here the personal pronoun, object (you) and the verb to love (voleti), which equals volim te. It is used more often because it is shorter and easier to say.
When someone tells you ‘Volim te‘ you can respond:
‘Volim i ja tebe’ or ‘Волим и ја тебе’ in Cyrillic alphabet (I love you too).
‘I ja tebe’ or ‘И ја тебе’ (Мe too). If you translate this sentence literally it means “and I you,” which makes no sense.
I strongly recommend you use the second variant because it’s shorter and much easier to remember.
Zaljubljen sam u tebe (I‘m in love with you)
If you are really in love with someone and it is the beginning of your romance, you can say:
‘Zaljubljen sam u tebe’ or ‘Заљубљен сам у тебе’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Zalyublyen sam u tebe) which means I’m in love with you (man to woman).
To say I’m in love with you from woman to man, you would use ‘Zaljubljena sam u tebe’ or ‘Заљубљенa сам у тебе’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Zalyublyena sam u tebe).
If you say this with ‘Ti si moj’ (woman to man) or ‘Ti si moja’ (man to woman), it means that you want to describe that person. You tell them what they mean to you, so that person can be your love, your passion, your heart and your soul.
Usrećuješ me (You make me happy)
‘Usrećuješ me’ or ‘Усрећујеш ме’ (Usretchuyesh me) can be used if you are really happy with your darling.
Želim te (I want you)
‘Želim te’ or ‘Желим те’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Zhelim te) can be used only if you are with your loved one and want to tell them how hot they are and how much you want to make love to them.
I want you (if your feelings are very strong, then it can also mean “I desire you”).
Moje srce kuca samo za tebe (My heart beats only for you)
‘Moje srce kuca samo za tebe’ or ‘ Моје срце куца само за тебe’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Moye srce kuca samo za tebe) can be used when you are in a relationship with the person who you really love to show them how much they mean to you. Do not say this one unless you really mean it.
Moje srce kuca samo za tebe is the sentence that can be said by a man or woman.
Potreban si mi (I need you)
‘Potreban si mi’ or ‘Потребан си ми’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Potreban see mee) is used if you really need someone (woman to man).
If a man wants to say the same sentence to a woman, it would be: ‘Potrebna si mi’ or ‘Потребнa си ми’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Potrebna see mee).
It’s common for this phrase to be used by people who are in love, but you can also say it to your friends sometimes if you really need them for whatever reason.
Uvek možeš da računaš na mene (You can always count on me)
This is a sentence that you can use it if you talk to your friends or with the person you love. ‘Uvek možeš da računaš na mene ‘ or ‘Увек можеш да рачунаш на мене’ in Cyrillic alphabet (You can always count on me).
Another version with the same meaning is ‘Uvek možeš da se osloniš na mene ‘ or ‘Увек можеш да се ослониш на мене’ in Cyrilic alphabet.
Both of these sentences mean ‘you can count on me’ so please don’t say it if you’re not ready to stand by your words! Nobody likes liars.
Ti si onaj koga sam tražila (You are the one I was looking for)
‘Ti si onaj koga sam tražila’ or ‘Ти си онај кога сам тражила’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Tee see onay koga sam trazhila) is used if you are really sure that he is your true love and you want to tell it to him that.
The version of this sentence that can be used by men towards woman is: ‘Ti si ona koju sam tražio’ or ‘Ти си она коју сам тражио’ in Cyrillic alphabet (Tee see ona koyu sam trazhio).
When you like someone, you have to say it. Use these phrases to give a clear message of how special that person is to you. If the person you are in love with is from Serbia, it would be a nice gesture from your part to say you make me happy, I love you, or I miss you In Serbian.
